Ive traveled all over the world and havent lived in Bako for 15+ years and they still have the best fish n chips ever, for a long time, the only fish I could stomach. They start with white cod in a light homemade batter (not the thick greasy variety) for a crispy flaky finish with a perfectly balanced tartar sauce, but the sides are not to be outdone - thinly shredded cabbage for the creamy coleslaw with just enough juice to dip the crunchy seasoned crinkle fries. So deliciously simple and yet so many dont get it right. I also loved their budget salad or their hamburger steak sandwich. The service is friendly, including occasional visits by the owner to make sure you're happy. The retro bowling alley ambiance tops off the whole experience. Definitely not fine dining, but the homey comfort food found here speaks for itself and still calls to me from 2000 miles away lol!

This place has been here for a while. The bowling alley is closed but the kitchen is open and the service was great Sam was our server and she helped us from the very minute we got there. The food came out really quick tasted great she served us with our drinks. The atmosphere was quite nostalgic. The booths were so cool to have a fan above you and spinning. To the old school bar with all the chairs in front of it. The plants outside were pretty the plants inside were pretty. And the little chairs outside were very nostalgic.

The cook, Joseph, makes all the difference to us. He is great, and his food fantastik. The waitress there are friendly and courteous, and tend very well to customers. If your looking for Fish and Chips, you could drive all the way to Pismo and not find Fish and Chips better than Mossman's. Mossman's can't be beat.

Best fish and onion rings! Walking in from the back we weren't sure they were open. They were and the fish was so good! I substituted onion rings for fries. They were amazing! And the coleslaw was so fresh and perfect. Definitely coming back!
